– You will learn how to make chocolate truffle which will be used to form your chocolate marquis

– How to make an impressive chocolate ganache, as well as beautiful buttercream

– Icing techniques, including flavour alternatives and how to apply it perfectly to your bakes

– Presentation techniques that will exert extravagance, and impress all of your friends and family

You will learn and take home:

– You will learn how to make a decadent chocolate marquis; layered with the best ever brownie, and topped with an indulgent chocolate truffle

– The steps required to make a perfectly presented chocolate roulade- you will begin by making a delicate light chocolate sponge, learning all of the tips and tricks on rolling your roulade faultlessly

– You will produce the finest opera gateau- you will use the techniques learnt to make your own ganache, buttercream and icing to put together this luxurious dreamy dessert.

    Chris showed us how to make a chocolate maquis cake that is really to die for. Breaking down the stages enabling us to get hands on. We learnt far more than we thought we would. The informal setting worked really well for me, and I am planning my next course.
