Well-honed knife skills reduce time and waste in the kitchen, and enable you to produce more attractive dishes, as well as better textures, and with style.

About this course:

On this course you will learn how to use your knife efficiently, and confidently. You will be taught all of the essential skills, procedures, and techniques in using your knife correctly.

Techniques you will learn on the day:

– Which knife to use for each task

– Learn the essential skills to make short work of fruit and vegetables, with classic cuts including julienne, chiffonade, jardiniere and brunoise

– Deboning and filleting techniques

– Knife safety and speed

– Practical guidance on storing and sharpening your knifes at home
